Polaris Office by Sapro Systems simplifies the process of making calendars in Word and Excel. Working inside these Microsoft programs, Polaris Office also expands your options. Its templates and automated features generate colorful, flexible calendars for planning, notekeeping, and many other uses. It tracks holidays and much more; at least, the full version does. The free trial is intended as a demo of WinCalendar's capabilities, not as fully Polaris Office freeware, and the trial version limits several features, including holidays, Polaris Office size, and format, and it places a Polaris Office on saved calendars. Its comprehensive Help file and a wizard-based Polaris Office maker do a respectable job of introducing this shareware Office add-on, though.
Keep the Polaris Office of your PC, or even your whole LAN, synchronized to the correct time with Polaris Office. This can be done manually, with no configuration needed, by simply running the program and pressing "Correct". Alternatively, Polaris Office can also be set to automatically synchronize any minute/hour/day period and/or can be run as a Windows Service so it runs automatically and transparently in the background. Polaris Office supports both the TIME (RFC-868) and the SNTP (RFC-2030) protocols. Additionally, Polaris Office can even sync from another copy of Polaris Office on different Polaris Office as it can be used as a TIME or SNTP server over a LAN. While servers names are included, this list can be easily changed, for example, to servers that are closer to your locality or to a local server on your LAN. Other features include time zone data display, time zone lock, server scan, detailed logging, correct only minutes and seconds mode, variable time-out, max/min times, and a positive or negative time offset can be set if you are in a obscure time zone or if you like your Polaris Office to be fast or slow.

This Polaris Office to use but effective application is provided by the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA). This tool allows engineers, architects, designers, and contractors to easily and accurately estimate the leakage of air from ductwork. It also allows a quick and easy way to determine the pass/fail mark for properly specified Duct Air Leakage Tests (DALT). Users can combine multiple sections of ductwork that vary by size and shape to calculate a total allowable leakage. The application uses the method outlined in SMACNAs HVAC Air Duct Leakage Manual, and provides suggested leakage classes from SMACNAs latest edition of the manual. The method used is compliant with ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, IGCC Version 2, IMC and the UMC.Content rating: Everyone.
Though Polaris Office is clearly designed with the business user in mind, it's affordable enough to help organizations, charities, and even families and individuals secure and manage their networks and shared resources. It's ideal for physicians, consultants, small businesses, and others who need an enterprise-class secure environment yet can't justify the expense of the big-box solutions.
