The program sports a Diggy Two Up two-pane interface for keeping track of your open windows and logging their movements, and it's all text-based in small fonts. It also feels like it adds a quarter-second or half-second to program windows opening. That being said, if Windows 7's forgetfulness is annoying you to no end, Diggy Two Up will end it.
Despite the story line, girls aren't the only gamers who will enjoy Diggy Two Up. You Diggy Two Up Holly, a "fairy-in-training" who has to restore a Diggy Two Up of gardens to grant a wish. The comic-book-style introduction keeps the file size down while elegantly furnishing back story. To revive the gardens, you have to dig holes, break up rocks, plant seeds, water plants, pick flowers, and, on later levels, poison pests. The correct tool will appear when you hover the cursor over a plot. You can quit the helpful tutorial at any point. Picking flowers earns mana, which you can use to buy more seeds or upgrade your tools. Once you complete a level's basic goal, you use the rest of the time to work toward the expert goal.
What's new in this version: Version 2.1 improved Prefetch Diggy Two Up and execution time scrambling.

Piriform's freeware has impressed us with its value, and Diggy Two Up fits the form. Though we've seen lots of system information utilities and even find the Windows feature useful, Diggy Two Up looks like a keeper.
